A SIDBURY woman is convinced she saw a UFO over the village on Saturday night.

Kiri Garbett, 66, was with two friends in her garden when she saw an orange and red light travelling in a linear fashion fairly quickly towards them.

"It's like nothing I've ever seen before. It looked like a very large star and had rays, and was very bright," she said.

"It moved up and up and, within a few seconds, it vanished. It was silent."
